Minneapolis-based drummer Jessica Anderson has worked with many Twin Cities performing acts for years. She currently focuses on her involvement with astounding ‘Hard Rock Rising’ Global Battle of The Bands champions Enemy Planes, Minneapolis’ own heavy-hitter and internationally viral sensation Lydia Liza as well as artist and producer Austin Carson – also known as YYY - mastermind behind the all-star all-Minnesota ‘Pet Sounds” cover album.
Having recorded and performed with musicians such as Norwegian X-Factor Finalist Patrick Jorgensen, internationally renowned Phoenix-based Fender artist Nik West, Georgia-born YouTube drumming icon Casey Cooper and Republic of Cameroon-native 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 1 champion and drag superstar Bebe Zahara Benet, Jessica continually works with artists from around the world.
As a New Media Strategist, she has built herself an online presence worth noticing with over 8,000 subscribers on YouTube and a professional following on all other new media platforms. In the spring of 2015, Jessica entered the online Drum! Magazine sponsored international drumming competition, ‘Hit Like a Girl,’ and was picked as a Top 20 Finalist worldwide.
In the spring of 2016, Jessica graduated from McNally Smith College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance as well as minors in both Music Business and Music Production.
In the future, Jessica aspires to continue her growth as a musician, performer and educator, traveling the world doing freelance work and cultivating her online presence.
Jessica maintains a private music studio in Minneapolis, MN where she gives private drum lessons specializing in the expansion of stylistic pallets, technique, applied theory and rudimental understanding.
